Shipping/Local Pickup Policy

At this time, all orders are shipped through Canada Post. Shipping costs are calculated using the weight and dimensions of the packaging, as well as the cost of the packaging. Please note that shipping charges can change at any time. We try to be as accurate as possible, but shipping costs may change. If there are any changes, you will be notified before your order is shipped. Our current processing time is 1-3 business days, depending on where you are located. We will try to ship your package as soon as possible, delivery dates will depend on the shipping option you select. 

The maximum weight for shipping is 66 pounds (30 kgs). If you are interested in ordering heavier products, please contact us directly and we can send you a quote through a different shipping company: kelownarocksandgems@gmail.com. 

All items are packaged and protected to the best of our ability. If your order arrives and is damaged from shipping, please let us know right away.

Shipping Options

All items are shipped through Canada Post. When you get to the checkout, you will be able to see the shipping options as well as the estimated delivery times. Please select the shipping option that works best for you.

Please note that we use an automated service that determines the cost of shipping. If your shipping costs seem very high, please contact us and we can confirm your actual shipping costs.

Lettermail Shipping Option

For small items, we may be able to ship through regular lettermail. If the item is small enough, the lettermail option will appear at checkout. Please note that by selecting this option, you are aware that you will not receive a tracking number for your order. If you select this option, there is no tracking or insurance on your items. If you prefer to have a tracking number for your order, please select one of the other shipping options.

Local Pickup Option

We also offer local pickup at no charge. We are located are 1111 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC. If you select the local pickup option for your order, you can stop by our store any time within business hours. The local pickup option will only appear for certain postal codes local to this area. If you selected this option, you will receive an email confirming your order. If you selected this option in error, please send us a message right away. We require 1-2 business days to prepare your order for pickup. We are happy to hold your order for up to 30 days.
