Vanadinite is a mineral belonging to the apatite group of phosphates. It is one of the main sources of the metal vanadium and a minor source of lead. These vanadinite specimens are from Morocco.
It is well known for its dense, red hexagonal crystals.
**Due to trace amounts of lead, these specimens are best left on display. Wash your hands after touching them to be extra safe.
